Las Mareas #21

Las Mareas 21 is a two bedroom, one bath home that will accommodate 4 people and is merely one lot from the beach. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two twins. The kitchen is fully equipped including a blender, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dining table for 6. There are three window AC units and space heaters. The patio offers lush greenery and access to a deck for ocean-viewing. Other amenities include excellent beach access, smart TV-Monitor, radio, CD, cassette player, charcoal barbecue, a covered patio with patio furniture and a beautiful view of the Sea of Cortez. Owner requests No Smoking Inside and No Pets. Sheets and one set of bath towels are provided.

  We've been to Rocky Point many many times over the last 15 years-
  had never stayed in Las Conchas- it was a nice change.
  The house is in a great location. It's very dated but well equipped.
  The King mattress feels about as dated as the house- a new firmer one would be most welcomed- it's super soft/sinking.
  The beach in front of the house has a lot of rocks during low tide.
  The host & management co (Oceano Rentals) were top notch, responsive communicators & provided excellent, above & beyond customer service.

  We had a great stay here, about 1/2 block from the beach. We took full advantage of that on a 4 day stay. Decided to stay another day and the management team accommodated us with no issues. Had one minor maintenance issue and again, the management team sent a repair person out within a few hours. Highly recommended by us.

  We love staying at this charming house just steps from the beach. Quaint and comfortable with plenty of space to cook, relax, sit and chat or out on the patio for sunsets and barbecuing. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities.
  You can see the sea from the windows and lovely sunsets and shorebirds. The beach is wonderful with lots of seashells, birds, snorkeling and fishing.

  Our rental was great for our stay. Close enough to the beach! The place could use some tlc for sure. Although it no longer has vhs as described they do have Blu-ray and cable so that was nice! All kitchen stuff was available but needed trash bags and dish cloth also more more wash cloths. They did provide fans and heaters so I was happy!
  Basically get your own beach to relax. Would most definitely stay here again!

  We enjoyed our stay here in Rocky Point for sure. Quite relaxing and a good opportunity to turn off the electronics for awhile and slow down. The rental was fine and we had everything we needed. We tried to buy a dust pan for it but were unable to find one on our brief excursions to town. We would recommend this to our friends and would rent again inn the future.

  Property is in a great location HOWEVER needs some handyman work badly. Hot water shower knob was stripped out, kitchen drawers are broken, entrance gate is broken and multiple tiles are popping up from the floor. HOWEVER the rental price make me overlook most all of it. We never could get ahold of anyone to fix the shower knob. I'd rent it again in a heartbeat!

  After some of the other reviews that I read, I was a little leary about this place. The good news is that it was perfectly fine. Not one bug in the entire place all weekend long. It was also very clean and comfortable. The kitchen table was very wobbly so we did not use it and the kitchen itself could use some updating. The convenience of walking to the beach in less than a minute definitely made the slight downfalls of the kitchen a non-issue for us since we weren't cooking meals there.

  Really great! Also was a little skeptical after reading past reviews, but the place was extremely clean and we had no issues. Literally a stone throw from the beach and since the house is near the beginning of Las Conchas, just a quick drive into town. If you have a small group this place is perfect! Make sure to check the small storage shed on the side of the home for beach chairs and umbrellas!

  Not gonna lie, was a bit worried to open the door after reading the other reviews. The location was ideal as we had friends in a house on the beach about 1000' down the way. The place was clean. Didn't see any roaches or other insects inside. It's older and needs some updating but for the price, it's great. Missed all the empty corona bottles in the hall cabinets but will know better for next time.

  One of the sliding doors is completely off track in the livimg room. There is an inch or more gap for someone to pry it open or for critters to enter. You dont notice it because the curtain covers it.gap

  We were very disappointed that the property was not ready on the day we arrived. Workmen still painting the back patio. Considering that we had made this booking three months prior to our arrival your planning left a lot to be desired.
